I was raised on the West side of Pueblo. I attended Pitts Middle School and then graduated from Central High School. After high school, I attended the University of Southern Colorado (now CSU-Pueblo) before enlisting in the U.S. Navy. I served aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Nimitz, and was fortunate enough to visit several countries around the world. This permitted me to experience cultures outside of our great country.
Upon my honorable discharge from the Navy, I lived and worked lived in Washington state for almost ten years. A job offer came along that allowed me to live and work in the Southern part of the United States. After two years of extensive travel, I decided it was time to return to Colorado, where I became employed for eight years with Comcast Cable Communications in Denver. In 2005, I moved from Denver back to Pueblo in order to be closer to my family. For the last three years of my employment with Comcast, I commuted daily from Pueblo to Denver. While it made for long days, it was worth it in order to live in the wonderful city of Pueblo.
In December of 2008, I was laid of from Comcast. This was a blessing in disguise as it provided me the opportunity to seek my dreams of being a Realtor. I completed the training at a record setting pace of less than two months. Now I am living a dream of having a wonderful job, and living in the best city in the world. I have been in numerous countries, and have either lived or visited every of these United States, and I can honestly say there is no place like home, and for me, home is (and will be) Pueblo, Colorado.
As I mentioned before, it is important to be vested in the community that one lives. I am very vested in Pueblo. Not only am I a Real Estate Broker in Pueblo, but I am the Vice President of Historic Pueblo, Inc., a member of the Pueblo County Historical Society and Bessemer Historical Society. In addition to my membership in these associations, I am also a volunteer with the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office. I love Pueblo, and am doing what I can to make my community a better place. I believe that this starts at home, where my wife and I are continually restoring our dream home, which was built in 1900. In fact, we were just awarded the Historic Preservation Award by the Pueblo County Historic Society, and are in the process of obtaining a Historical Landmark Designation for the house. Now I look forward to helping others find their dream home in this great city. Or, if you seek to sell your current house, I want to assist in selling so that you may find your future dream home wherever it may be.
What makes me stand out from other Realtors is the sheer passion of my career, and my experience as a home buyer. I have bought numerous homes in my lifetime, so I know what a home buyer is looking for and what a home buyer experiences along the path from looking at houses through closing. If you are wanting to purchase a home, let my experiences help you from a buyer's perspective.
Also, if you are looking to sell your house, let my experience help you with that as well. In addition to being a Realtor on your side, I can give you perspectives that buyers will have when they walk through your home.
I have over 20 years of customer service experience during my past careers. I look forward to being not just a realtor, but your personal representative in buying or selling a home.
